Last week my main focus was work so I didn't get out to see much. I did find a mall above the Airport Express Train station which has an ice skating rink inside, there was a father son playing hockey. Made me a little homesick.
It rained everyday starting on Monday and some days were torrential downpours. Most nights we had thunderstorms and during the day the humidity was is in high 90's. As soon as you walk outside you have a thin covering of glisten (sounds better than sweat) covering your body.
Saturday, July 12th
I had a meeting with one of my vendors today and then got ready to go out and celebrate
Vivian's birthday at 8. I met Benny and Vivian at Kowloon Park MTR exit and we walked to Imagine which is a pub/cafe. We played darts, liars dice, and had a few beers. Benny tried to teach me some Cantonese and Mandarin, difficult to teach an old dog new tricks!!! It was pretty entertaining me trying to speak Cantonese after a few beers. As you can see Vivian's beer was almost as big as she is. We headed home around midnight.
Thought I'd share some more photos from my apartment. My goal is to figure out how to add all of my pictures using the slide show feature.
